I will shortly go into the most significant story of the year – maybe the decade. Be warned that it looks completely insignificant at first glance: a cloud no bigger than a remote keyboard.

At first there was a lot of other news. The Independent reported from Sheffield about the reopening of the cathedrals for private prayer. "The queue for the city's Primark stretched down the street and around the block. The queue for the nearby St. Mary's Cathedral – the region's main [Roman] Catholic center – was only half a dozen.
