It is good with my soul

Yesterday's page from Angela D Meyer is a charming one
contemporary Christian novel and part of the mosaic collection. I loved it.

The novel has two main themes – dementia
and promote. Dementia is a cruel illness that steals the lives of our loved ones
Little by little while they're still alive. "I feel like I'm losing him." It is
Trouble for everyone involved. "Even if I can't remember, don't forget me." There
are some very touching scenes that bring a tear to your eye.

Nursing brings its own set of
Challenges and needs. They "need our help, not our judgment." It is said in
Africa that it takes an entire village to raise a child. That is certainly true
in the novel, with a wonderful community that unites to offer support.
There is a nice partnership between a well-groomed teenager and a grandfather
Dementia. They offer each other mutual support.

We all need friends, friends who help and
Support. The community in the novel fulfills all the needs that it sees.

We also need God. When times are tough, we can
shout: "Lord … be my strength." When we get to the end, we can
push into him. Whatever we see, God is walking next to us. "God still took care of it
you in the middle of this excitement. "We have to trust God to guide us through life.
"Lord, help me believe that everything is fine even if I don't see it." God is faithful
Even if we cannot see the next step, we can trust that it will guide us.

There is a search within the story, a search
that started at the end of World War II. This reminds the reader that God will do it
Search for us, He will never give up until we come to rest in Him. Indeed the
The very first question in the Bible is, "Where are you?" In Genesis. God knows
right where we are, but he will passionately pursue us even if we try
hide from him. He will never give up until we come to him and we are no longer
lost.

This side of yesterday
was such a
adorable book. I am sorry that it is over. I look forward to many more from Angela
D Meyer.
