The woman with the amber comb by Linda Finlay
The girl with that
Amber Comb by Linda
Finlay is a historical saga set in Somerset in 1834. It is fascinating
Report on a kind, brave young woman.
The reader is full of admiration for that
Heroine with a big heart. Even though her head is turned, we can see the length she has
going to survive. The poor were exploited. Jobs were paid poorly
with long hours. A little friendliness goes a long way.
Friendships are made along the way of life. Life
is always better when we do it with friends.
The reader learns something about the art of
Weaving as a community draws together. Resources and food are grouped together.
I really enjoyed this report over a period of time
Necessity, but where people are pulled together. There were those who wanted to take
Advantage, but the lasting impression is an impression of community and love.
I got this book for free. A positive rating was not required and all views expressed are my own.
