A vow is a promise or an oath. These vows appear to be very similar to the vows you exchanged on your wedding day. "I take you to be my married husband / wife, to have and keep from that day for the good, for the bad, for the rich, for the poorest, in sickness and health, to love and appreciate, until death separates us according to God's holy decree. and I promise you my faith [or] I promise you. "

The typical Christian marriage vows contain a lot of content, including implicit sacrifices, that can put the average person on the brink of what he is getting into. It may appear that we commit to these vows without really recognizing how they actually develop over the course of the marriage. This is very reminiscent of the vows we made when we were young.
