The therapist from B.A. Paris
Secrets and lies
The therapist from B.A. Paris is a wonderful contemporary psychological thriller that I grabbed from the start.
The novel is written in the present, but there are also voices from the "past". I tried to find out who they were but failed miserably (again!)
When a new resident moves into the square, she is determined to find out the truth about what really happened in her home and who the culprit is.
Traumas in the past have far-reaching consequences in the present as life is stuck at one point in time.
B.A. Paris is the master of the psychological thriller. She weaves complicated storylines that I can't solve as best I can. I am always in a breathtaking moment where previous actions become even creepier in my head.
The Therapist is truly a fab read – not recommended reading alone as you never know who is watching!
I received this book for free. A positive rating was not required and all views expressed are my own.
