Where is the truth

Tarryn Fisher's The Wives is a wonderful contemporary psychological tension that I read in just one session. It was a pretty creepy read that totally consumed me.

The question arises what is real and what you imagine. Who is telling the truth? And who is lying?

Tarryn Fisher has a very cleverly constructed and unique plot. She manipulated my feelings when the plot took over my life.

The story is written in the first person that strengthens the reader's involvement. I read with my breath held and my head spinning as I tried to tell the truth from the lies. I had to figure out where to put my trust.

The women had the disturbing issues of miscarriage and mental illness. These were presented sensitively.

Tarryn Fisher is a new writer for me, but I'm sure I'll hunt more of her. The Wives was an exciting and eerie read.

I got this book for free. A positive rating was not required and all views expressed are my own.
