Not my daughter from Suzy Ok Quinn
Wow just wow
Suzy K Quinn's Not My Daughter is an absolutely wonderful contemporary psychological thriller that has completely upset my thoughts and feelings. It was a "wow" reading.
The novel is cleverly constructed and Suzy Quinn has manipulated my emotional reactions throughout. I tried to find out the truth from the lies. Who told the stories? Who was completely vulnerable? And who was in control? See if you can find out before reading the last word.
Now that the book is over, I'm totally shocked – it just doesn't cover great. There are no superlatives good enough to describe how wonderful, complicated and clever this book is.
Suzy Quinn has created a fabulous set of characters. My answers to these questions were put together perfectly by the author, so that I could experience the moment "Wow, did this just happen?"
I found Not My Daughter an explosive, exciting, exciting read. I love Suzy K Quinn's writings. I'm never quite sure how it will end, but I know one thing – I'm ready for an upset stomach, clenched teeth, racing heart. Absolutely great. Tension from the top drawer.
I got this book for free. A positive rating was not required and all views expressed are my own.
