Hymn: "Day by Day" by Carolina Sandell Berg
Day after day and at every moment
I find strength to take my exams here;
Trust in my father's wise gift,
I have no need to worry or fear.
He whose heart is exceedingly kind
Give every day what he thinks is best
It is lovingly part of pain and pleasure
Mix work with peace and quiet.
The Lord Himself is near me every day.
With special mercy for every hour;
He would like to take all my worries and cheer me on
He, whose name is Consultant and Pow’r.
The protection of his child and his sweetheart
Is an accusation that he put on himself;
"Like your days, your strength will be in measure"
This is the promise to me that he made.
Then help me in every tribulation
To trust your promises, O Lord,
That I don't lose the sweet comfort of faith
Offered me in your holy word.
Help me, sir, when trouble and trouble meet.
It's like taking it out of a father's hand
One by one, the days, the fleeting moments
Until I reach the promised land.
