The house of the bishops will be asked next month whether the disciplinary action of the clergy (CDM) should be replaced or changed. Alternative details have not been released, but are expected to include a two-tier system that treats more and less serious complaints separately. The bishops would be released from their responsibility to judge disciplinary matters.
