Acceptable Danger from Lynette Eason
Lynette Eason's Acceptable Risk is a fabulous Christian tension and the second book in the Danger Never Sleeps series. It can be read as a standalone. I enjoyed meeting familiar faces.
Lynette Eason is a master of suspense drama. She made me stick and guess from the start. Her characters are all well drawn, realistic, and personable. Her leading actress is a mix of the strong but fighting insecurities that come with PTSD. She tries to move on regardless of her internal struggles.
Families are a strange mix. Sometimes the methods used to protect us are questionable. Cracks appear in relationships. The past needs to be met and forgiveness given, both for us and for others.
The pursuit of wealth and power is a futile hunt. The richest people are those with healthy relationships with others.
Within the novel there are some big hearts for others.
Sometimes life puts us in a situation where all we can say is, “Please, Lord, send help.” God loves to answer all prayers, especially those that cry out from the bottom of his heart.
I love this Danger Never Sleeps series and can't wait to read the next books. My every thought is consumed by the characters. Get a copy and enjoy an exciting read today.
I received this book for free. A positive rating was not required and all views expressed are my own.
